Inspired by the Yorkshire meadows and coastline, this workshop will guide you through creating a richly layered wet-felted artwork full of depth. You can choose to create either “Yorkshire Sunset in the Meadow” or “Yorkshire Sea Sunset ”
You will explore the wet felting process from start to finish — laying out fibres, blending colours, incorporating texture, and using warm water and gentle agitation to form a strong, cohesive piece of felt. Throughout the session, you’ll learn how to create flow and dimension in your design, capturing the shifting energy of skies and light.
What’s Included:
• A generous assortment of fibres: including: merino, Corriedale, Shetland, silks, locks, and nepps
• All tools and equipment needed for wet felting
• Step-by-step guidance on building depth, movement, and layered effects
• Your own completed wet-felted artwork to take home
• Refreshments and biscuits
